MAKING sense OF WHAT HURTS. MAKING meaning OF WHAT’S NEXT.

Meet Wendy Davis, LMFT | Therapist in Valencia, CA

We were all born whole, loving, creative, and open. Then things happened to us.

I’m here for the people who find themselves at a crossroads—for the ones wondering what to do and if they can even handle what comes next. For the ones doing their best to keep up with life, even while something inside feels unsettled. For the couples wondering if their relationship can be healed.

Maybe you’re here because…

  • You and your partner keep getting stuck in the same fight, and you’re not sure how much more you can take.

  • Feeling anxious or depressed has become your new normal, and you need help quieting the noise.

  • You’ve always felt a little different— “too much” or “not enough”—and you’re ready to understand why.

  • Something happened recently—a loss or a life change—and now everything feels harder than it used to.

  • The old ways of coping aren’t cutting it anymore, and nothing else you do really makes a difference.

  • You’re wrestling with the big questions: identity, death, meaning, or what it takes to live a fulfilling life.

My approach

I offer much more than just a listening ear.

Many people come to me because, no matter how things appear on the outside, inside, they’re struggling—or even feel like they’re falling apart. Pain from the past, current stress, struggling relationships, or all of the above—whatever you bring, this is a place specifically for you to slow down, understand what’s really going on, and start making the changes you’ve been needing.

I want you to feel genuinely comfortable here—not just in my office, but in the process.

We’ll talk about what’s working, what’s not, and what kind of support actually feels useful to you. This may mean processing painful memories with EMDR, building new tools for managing anxiety, or improving communication in your relationship. Your story is unique, and I’ll honor that by meeting you with curiosity, personalized tools, and honest care.

I’ve been doing this work for a long time and I’ve lived enough life to know how messy and beautiful it can be. That experience matters. I’ve walked alongside people through grief, uncertainty, disconnection, and healing in all its forms—and I know how important it is to offer steady, compassionate presence through it all. Nothing you share will be too much. I’m here to hold it with you. You’ll be met with the kind of steady, thoughtful support that helps things finally start to shift—because you deserve so much more than just getting by.

Specializing in…

You bring what’s confusing and what’s heavy. I’ll bring the support and the room to breathe.
