THERAPY FOR Anxiety & Depression IN VALENCIA, CA
Let go of the pressure and finally feel human again. Sessions available in-person and online.
There are too many things happening at once.
Maybe you’re juggling school or work demands, relationship stress, caring for others, or trying to make sense of a recent trauma, big life decision, or the weight of grief. On top of all that, your body feels off—sleep is hard, your appetite’s shifted, and you’re either on edge or completely drained. Something in you knows this pace isn’t sustainable.
Even simple tasks feel daunting or stressful because you’re always on edge. And it’s not just about one thing either—it’s bigger than that: fear about the future, the pressure to hold it all together, or old pain resurfacing (over and over again). To make things worse, even though they care, your friends and family don’t really understand. They mean well, but they can’t help in the way you need—and some think you should be over it by now.
Anxiety is a feeling that something’s wrong—even when you can’t name what it is (or what you’re feeling). It can show up as racing thoughts, a tight chest, or that constant sense of urgency that never lets you relax or take a deep breath. Depression might be part of the picture too—feeling unmotivated, disconnected, or like everything takes extra effort. Sometimes it’s about one thing, but more often, it’s about everything. These are signals from your body and mind trying to protect you. The trouble is, it can start to feel like they’re running the show.
You’re not broken. You’re overwhelmed. And therapy can help.
Anxiety & depression sounds like:
“I just want to shut my brain off.”
“I don’t want to burden my friends and family, so I just keep it to myself.”
“I feel like I’m falling behind—or like I’m failing at life.”
“Some days I feel completely numb, like I’m just going through the motions.”
“I know I’m not coping in the healthiest ways, but I don’t know what else to do.”
“I don’t trust myself anymore.”
“I can’t remember the last time I felt like myself—or felt anything at all.”
HOW I CAN HELP
Here, we slow it all down.
We tune into what your emotions—anxiety, depression, or something in between—are trying to tell you, and begin the work of helping you feel more like yourself again.
My approach is relational and depth-oriented, which means we don’t just treat symptoms—we explore what’s really going on. I draw from psychodynamic therapy and trauma-informed care to help you understand how your past experiences may be influencing your present. When put into context, the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that feel irrational or overwhelming start to make sense. This kind of clarity can be not only illuminating, but also incredibly calming.
We’ll make space for all of your thoughts, fears, and feelings, because anxiety and depression aren’t usually just one thing; they’re layered.
They can be tied to your past, shaped by your relationships, or triggered by the pressures of life right now. Together, we’ll get curious, without judgment, so we can begin to untangle what’s underneath.
Throughout our work, I’ll follow your lead and check in often about what feels helpful. Some sessions might be about deep processing, while others focus on learning calming strategies or grounding tools you can use right away. Either way, you’ll have someone walking with you, helping you make sense of what’s happening, and supporting you in finding real, sustainable relief.
You don’t have to stay stuck in survival mode.
Even though you’re struggling, there may be a part of you questioning why you need this—because doesn’t “everyone” feel anxious sometimes? But if anxiety or depression are running your life, keeping you stuck, or dimming your joy in any way, it’s time (and worth it) to do something different.

FAQS
-
That’s actually more common than you think. Part of our work together is getting curious about what’s beneath the surface. We don’t have to have it all figured out to get started.
-
Both. I’ll follow your lead and offer tools when they’re helpful—whether that’s grounding techniques, mindfulness strategies, or ways to work with your thoughts. But we’ll also make space to talk through what’s going on underneath so we’re not just managing symptoms, but creating real change.
-
Absolutely. Just because you’ve been living with anxiety or depression for years doesn’t mean you’re stuck with it forever. Together, we’ll take a compassionate, steady approach—making space for what’s been hard, and working toward new ways of coping, connecting, and feeling more like yourself again.
-
That’s hard and really frustrating. I honor the courage it takes to try again, and I’m glad you’re here. I work relationally and collaboratively, which means your comfort and trust matter deeply—you’ll never be expected to go further than you’re ready for. Because I specialize in trauma, I’m especially mindful of how past experiences (in life or therapy) can shape what feels safe. We’ll move at your pace, together. Learn more about my trauma work HERE.
